WARNING – PEANUT BUTTER MAY CAUSE WEIGHT LOSS!
I have been adding Peanut Butter and Oats to my meal replacement shake and here’s what happened.
First, let me explain the significance of having this delightful combo daily.
To lose weight efficiently you need 1.6 to 2.2 g of protein per kg of body weight – depending on your goals. An average minimum of 100g a day. This can be costly and hard to maintain.
Having a Slender MRP shake already gives you an astounding 20g along with digestive enzymes and very few calories. Adding PB, oats and chia seeds is optional but highly recommended as it can boost your protein intake to a whopping 50g per shake that’s 50% DRV.
So what was my experience? STUFFED to the max. I had long-lasting energy release, keeping me sated all day long. This lowers blood sugar levels helping with those mid-day cravings. In the long run, I have found this to be one of the easiest and most effective ways to maintain my weight while also taking care of my body. Protein is the building block of muscles and bones. If you don’t feed it to your body- your body will take it from those two groups leaving you at risk of magnesium deficiency and early osteoporosis.
It always has and will always be about more than weight loss. It’s about being in the routine of doing something that your future ( 20- 30 years from now ) self will thank you for. It’s a lifestyle of taking care of yourself and your family.
